- Adobe Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADBE) $38.10. Adobe up 7.2 percent following strong fourth-quarter results and guidance. Guidance for Q1 and FY13 appeared way below expectations, but Adobe noted a shift in certain revenue recognition from perpetual to substitution. For more, click here.
- Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) high of $19.67. Yahoo! rolling this week after appointing Max Levchin, serial entrepreneur, to its Board. With Yahoo! loading up on Google and eBay staff, investors are loving the transition that's happening here.
- PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) high of $132.80. PPG popping higher today after announced a $1.05 billion deal to acquire the North American coatings business of AkzoNobel, N.V.
- AVG Technologies N.V. (NYSE: AVG) high of $16.26. Entered a partnership with Yahoo! late Thursday. Share rose over 15 percent to the new mark today.
- Vista Gold Corp> (AMEX: VGZ) low of $2.21. Priced at 3.6 million unit offering at $2.75 each, which was 6.5 percent lower than Thursday's closing price of $2.94.
- Micros Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS) low of $39.54. Has been trending lower recently as speculation heated up on whether or not Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad would cannibalize a part of its business. One analyst thinks that that won't be the case. For more on the comments, click here.
