Dow Chemical (DOW) Slips as Company Hints at Continued Challeges, More Streamlining

Dow Chemical (NYSE: DOW) keeps slipping lower Monday afternoon followng several press releases out of the company tied to its annual investor forum.

In part, CEO Andrew Liveris hinted at a more streamlined operating structure as meeting earnings targets becomes more challenging. For more on Liveris' comments, click here.

Dow also said its Elastomers unit hit year-to-date record sales and EBITDA. Dow Elastomers said the gain was due in part to "diversification into new market segments and the introduction of disruptive innovation."
