Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is said to have switched its battery suppliers as a Samsung unit is said to have stopped supplying the devices.
Samsung previously supplied batteries for Apple's MacBook laptops and iPad tablets.
The new suppliers are Amperex Technology and Tanjin Lishen, TechCrunch reports today.
Earlier, it was said that Samsung is moving to include Apple's new iPad Mini and iPad 4devices in its upcoming lawsuit. Samsung might seek a ban on importation of the devices.
Just last week, it was also rumored that Apple is working to switch key parts of its A6 processor away from Samsung amid chatter that Samsung was looking to charge Apple 20 percent more. Click here for additional color.
