Hyperdynamics Corporation (NYSE: HDY) 29% HIGHER; its wholly owned subsidiary, SCS Corporation Ltd, has entered into an agreement with Tullow Guinea Ltd., a subsidiary of Tullow Oil plc, for the sale of a 40% gross interest in Hyperdynamics' oil and gas exploration concession offshore Guinea and the transfer of operatorship to Tullow.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE: KKD) 12% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.12, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $107.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $104.56 million. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts sees FY2013 EPS of $0.44-0.47, versus the consensus of $0.43. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts sees FY2014 EPS of $0.49-0.55, versus the consensus of $0.51.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) 12% HIGHER; announced Brian Kelley will become President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors effective December 3, 2012

Sunshine Heart, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSH) 12% HIGHER; received unconditional approval from the FDA to commence its pivotal U.S. trial for its flagship C-Pulse Heart Assist System.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) 11% LOWER; Q4 results, weak Q1 guidance and the disclosure that there was accounting fraud at Autonomy, the software company it bought in 2011.

Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) 7% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.03, versus the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.753 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.73 billion. Comps down 4.3%.

Zipcar (NASDAQ: ZIP) 7% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $8.75 (from $8.00).

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. (NYSE: CTB) 5% LOWER; reports Apollo Tyres has "put on hold" its plans to acquire the company.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (CLF) 5% LOWER; downgraded to Sell at Goldman Sachs

Schiff Nutrition International Inc. (NYSE: SHF) font color="red">5% LOWER; Bayer will not raise bid.

Qihoo 360 Technology (NYSE: QIHU) 5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.20, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $84 million versus the consensus estimate of $81.59 million. Qihoo 360 Technology sees Q4 2012 revenue of $93-94 million, versus the consensus of $91.3 million. Qihoo 360 Technology sees FY2012 revenue of $319-320 million, versus the consensus of $315.51 million.

Sturm Ruger & Co. (NYSE: RGR) 5% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $4.50 per share. The dividend will be payable on December 21, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 7, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 9.2 percent

Groupon, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRPN) 5% HIGHER; a major hedge fund disclosed a 9.9%, or 65,000,000 share, stake in the company.

Aware, Inc. (NASDAQ: AWRE) 5% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $1.80 per share. The dividend will be payable on December 17, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 3, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 29.6 percent.

Jack in the Box, Inc. (NASDAQ: JACK) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.39, or $0.27 on a Non-GAAP basis, versus analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $357.64 million which may not compare consensus estimate of $488.8 million. The company sees FY EPS of $1.45-$1.60, versus the consensus of $1.54.

Research In Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ: RIMM) 4% HIGHER; Jefferies upgraded from Underperform to Hold with a price target of $10.00 (from $5.00).

Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) 4% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.51, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $468.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $496.91 million. Sees Q1 revs of $484 - $500 million and Q1 EPS of $0.33 - $0.37. The Street sees revs of $472 million and EPS of $0.41. FY13 revs at $2.171 - $2.221 billion and EPS of $1.84 - $1.94, versus expectations calling for revs of $2.04 billion and EPS of $1.84

Martin Midstream Partners L.P. (Nasdaq: MMLP) 4% LOWER; has commenced an underwritten public offering of 3,000,000 common units (plus up to an additional 450,000 common units pursuant to an option granted to the underwriters) under its existing shelf registration statement.

Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ARP) 3% LOWER; announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 6,800,000 common units representing limited partner interests. Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank Securities, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and RBC Capital Markets are acting as joint book-running managers for this offering. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,020,000 common units.

C&J Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: CJES) 3% LOWER; announced that Energy Spectrum IV LP (the "Fund") has agreed to sell all 3,296,549 of its shares of common stock in an underwritten public offering as a part of the normal management of the Fund's investments following the completion of its investment period. All net proceeds from the sale of the common stock will be received by the selling stockholder. C&J will not receive any of the proceeds.

AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) 2% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded from Sell to Neutral with a price target of $3.50.

Brocade Communications (NASDAQ: BRCD ) 2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.17, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $570 million versus the consensus estimate of $566.85 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.15-$0.16, versus the consensus of $0.16. Sees Q1 revs of $565-$585 million, versus the consensus of $571.3 million.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: SWHC) 1% LOWER; Preliminary net sales from continuing operations for the fiscal second quarter were approximately $136 million, and GAAP net income $0.19 to $0.21. The Street was looking for revs of $134.8 million and EPS of $0.21.
