Envivio (Nasdaq: ENVI) 57.2% LOWER; announced that it expects revenue for the quarter ending July 31, 2012 to be in the range of $10 million to $11 million, as compared to its previous guidance of $17 million to $18 million. The Street sees $17.7 million in revs.
Lone Pine Resources (NYSE: LPR) 32.6% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.14), versus $0.05 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $42.42 million, versus $49.24 million reported last year.
Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTI) 32.3% HIGHER; volume picked up as shares moves to and above the $2 price level. Moved higher Monday following news it launced a charger for the Samsung Galaxy S III smart phone featuring Ascent’s ultra light CIGS technology.
Summer Infant, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUMR) 24.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.02), $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $61.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $63.67 million.
Groupon (Nasdaq: GRPN) 26.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.08, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $568.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $576.76 million. Sees Q3 revs of $580 - $620 million and operating income of $15 - $35 million. Operating income compares with $46.49 million reported in the second-quarter 2012 and a loss of $0.2 million in the same period last year. Revs in Q3 are expected to be $604.5 million.
Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (AMEX: GSV) 24.6% LOWER; updated on North Bullion Fault Zone (NBFZ) target at its 100% owned Railroad Project. The company said, in part, "Drilling continues to be extremely challenging within the NBFZ target. RR12-03 was lost at 614 feet, just above the target zone, and RR12-06 was lost at 538 feet, also above the prospective target zone. Mathewson noted that some improvements had been made to drilling procedures and equipment but "the most effective response to the difficult drilling conditions is simply to use more rigs to advance the program."
Michael Kors Holdings (NYSE: KORS) 14.3% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.34, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $414.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $398 million. Sees FY2013 EPS of $1.32-1.34, versus the consensus of $1.12. Also sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.33-0.35, versus the consensus of $0.28.
Cobalt International Energy (NYSE: CIE) 12.7% HIGHER; higher on positive Deutsche comments Tuesday for its Cameia-2 well.
Parkervision Inc. (Nasdaq: PRKR) 12.8% HIGHER; moving higher into the company's Q2 results, expected to be out after markets close today.
Velti plc (Nasdaq: VELT) 11.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.01), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $58.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $56.88 million. Sees FY2012 revenue of $285-296 million, versus prior guidance of $283-296 million and the consensus of $290.93 million. Also sees Q4 2012 revenue of $60-64 million, versus the consensus of $61.14 million.
Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVNT) 12.1% HIGHER; disclosed receiving a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market indicating that for 30 consecutive business days the Company did not maintain a minimum Market Value of Listed Securities of $50,000,000 as required by NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(b)(2)(A). NASDAQ also noted that the Company is not in compliance with the Total Assets and Total Revenues Standard of $50,000,000 each for two of the last three fiscal years as required by NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(b)(3)(A). The Company was previously notified by the NASDAQ that it is not in compliance with the minimum bid price of $1.00 per share as required by NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(a)(1).
