Papa John's (PZZA) on Watch Following Weak Results from Domino's (DPZ)

Papa John's (Nasdaq: PZZA) is indicated slightly lower early Tuesday after rival Domino's Pizza (NYSE: DPZ) whiffed on earnings, resulting in a 7% swoon in its stock.

Domino's reported Q1 EPS of $0.47, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $384.59 million versus the consensus estimate of $404.06 million.

Papa John's reports its first quarter results after the close today.
