Keegan Resources (AMEX: KGN) 22.8% LOWER; gold stocks getting crushed this morning as the metal has plunged about 4 percent to around $1,728/oz.
Steelcase Inc. (NYSE: SCS) 19.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.15, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $700.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $686.7 million. Sees Q3 2011 EPS of $0.17-$0.21, versus the consensus of $0.22. Sees Q3 2011 revenue of $690-$715 million, versus the consensus of $704.50 million.
Youku.com (NYSE: YOKU) 13.4% LOWER; Goldman Sachs removed the stock from its Conviction Buy list but maintained a Buy rating and $50 price target. Click here to see more color.
Sunrise Senior Living (NYSE: SRZ) 13.3% LOWER; since pushing below (and holding) the $6 level, shares have gotten smashed, now down about 26 percent since Tuesday of this week.
Richmont Mines (AMEX: RIC) 13% LOWER; plunging with gold and silver prices.
Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) 13% LOWER; continuing lower following a 20+ percent decline on Tuesday on the heels of a JPMorgan downgrade. While one analyst was still bullish on the company, the market is clearly arguing the other way. The stock is down 40 percent this week alone.
Sequans Communications (Nasdaq: SQNS) 11.8% LOWER; continuing lower following a 10 percent rise on Monday and a 68 percent rise on Wednesday of last week. Shares are very volatile lately. The stock is down about 25 percent since Tuesday.
ION Geophysical (NYSE: IO) 10.5% LOWER; oil also plunging today on global growth concerns. NYMEX crude oil is down a sharp 5.6 percent to around $81.08/barrel.
Stillwater Mining (NYSE: SWC) 10.4% LOWER; down with the entire metals mining sector.
Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) 10% HIGHER; United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) today announced it has reached agreement to purchase Goodrich for $127.50 per share in cash. This equates to a total enterprise value of $18.4 billion, including $1.9 billion in net debt assumed.
Silver Standard Resources (Nasdaq: SSRI) 10% LOWER; silver down nearly $4/oz to around $36.70.
Arch Coal (NYSE: ACI) 9.9% LOWER; in addition to gold and silver, coal is also getting hammered today. The Market Vectors Coal ETF (NYSE: KOL) is down nearly 7 percent this morning.
Pan American Silver Corp. (Nasdaq: PAAS) 9.6% LOWER; metals sector getting killed today.
