52-Week High:
  • Mead Johnson Nutrition Company (NYSE: MJN) high of $76.10. Mead Johnson catching investors attention today as the company was subject of takeover talks Wednesday morning. According to Blooomberg, Nestle SA may mull a bid for the company, at a potential 25 percent prmium. Click here for more color. Mead moved up nearly 5 percnt

  • China Security & Surveillance Technology, Inc. (NYSE: CSR) high of $6.42. China Security & Surveillance reported its stockholders voted in favor of the proposal to adopt the previously announced Amended and Restated Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of May 3, 2011, by and among Rightmark Holdings Limited

  • China Mobile Limited (NYSE: CHL) high of $51.98. China Mobile and Clearwire Corporation (Nasdaq: CLWR) entered a collaboration to accelerate the development of TD-LTE devices. The companies will cultivate a robust device ecosystem that supports multi-mode, multi-band devices with minimum component complexity and cost.
52-Week Low:
  • Silvercorp Metals Inc. (NYSE: SVM) low of $5.86. Silvercorp hit its low early Wednesday, as the company was questioned by two short-sellers on financials, customers, product quality, and more.

  • JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: JASO) low of $2.43. Wednesday morning, Jefferies downgraded JA Solar from Hold to Underperform with a price target of $2.00, citing its deteriorating customer base in China. JA Solar fell about 9.7 percent to its low today.

  • Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. (NYSE: STP) low of $3.70. Suntech was also downgraded at Jefferies, from Hold to Underperform, with a price target moved from $6 to $3. Jefferies commented, "We believe $140M of annual interest payments and a $67M cash payment to MEMC will weigh on STP's profitability for the next twelve months."

  • Origin Agritech Limited (Nasdaq: SEED) low of $2.10. Origin down 27 percent Wednesday, following a complete third-quarter miss. Origin reported earnings of 9 cents on revenue of $37.4 million, versus the Street consensus of 75 cents per share and revenue of $75.87 million. Based on its current outlook, and existing and anticipated business conditions, Origin lowers the revenue guidance for FY 2011 in the range of RMB 530 million to RMB 550 million.
