PriceSmart (NASDAQ: PSMT) announced that for the month of September 2014 net sales increased 3.9% to $192.6 million, from $185.3 million in September a year earlier. There were 33 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2014 and 31 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2013.
For the four weeks ended September 28, 2014, comparable warehouse sales for the 31 warehouse clubs open at least 13 1/2 full months increased 0.7%, compared to the same four-week period last year.
