Herbalife (HLF) Lower as Coalition Sends Letter to National Association of Attorneys General to Investigate the Company
Herbalife (NYSE: HLF) is modestly lower Friday (+0.6%) after The Coalition to Stop Herbalife sent a letter to Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood, President of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).
The letter asks that the members of NAAG to take immediate action to protect thousands of vulnerable people in their states from the deceptive practices of Herbalife, a multi-level marketing company that they believe is actually a pyramid scheme and targets minorities and new immigrant communities.
