Cantor Fitzgerald initiated coverage on Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) with a Buy rating and a price target of $50.00. Analyst Brian J. White thinks the company Engineered Systems could be a game changer in the IT world.

"In our view, Oracle's strategy of engineering hardware and software to work together is unique, and we believe this differentiated value proposition can drive market share gains. At the same time, we believe Oracle is in the midst of a strong product cycle with the ramp of Oracle Database 12c, new services for the Oracle Cloud on the horizon, and continued momentum in Engineered Systems. Finally, Oracle's profit metrics are outstanding and profit growth attractive, yet the stock trades at an approximate 20% P/E discount to the S&P 500 Index," said White.
