Sucampo Pharma (SCMP) Announces Resignation of Chief Scientific Officer

On March 18, 2014, Dr. Ryuji Ueno notified Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCMP) that he resigned as Chief Scientific Officer, effective March 18, 2014, and will thereafter have no employment relationship with the Company or any of its subsidiaries.
Effective on March 18, 2014, Dr. Ueno and the Company terminated the consulting agreement between the Company and Dr. Ueno previously announced on February 12, 2014, and thereafter Dr. Ueno will not be a consultant for the Company.
