Maybe Netflix should change its logo to a green background.
According to the Associated Press, Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) CEO Reed Hastings is going to get his just deserts for the company's spectacular rebound in 2013 to the tune of a 50 percent salary hike.
Hastings will receive a salary of $3 million in 2014, up from the current level of $2 million. In addition, his annual stock option allowance moves from $1 million up to $3 million.
Given that shares of Netflix are up nearly 300 percent in 2013 and was the top-performer in the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500, investors might not mind the move at all.
Shares of Netflix are down about 0.5 percent.
