Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) peers Target Corp. (NYSE: TGT), Costco Wholesale Corporation (Nasdaq: COST), Dollar Tree, Inc. (Nasdaq: DLTR) and others declined on Wednesday in the wake of a Bloomberg news report that raised questions about inventory levels at the big box retailer. The report said Wal-Mart is cutting orders to suppliers to reduce inventory.
