CapitalSource Inc. (NYSE: CSE) 12.8% HIGHER; PacWest Bancorp (Nasdaq: PACW) and CapitalSource Inc. announced the signing of a definitive agreement and plan of merger (the Agreement) whereby PacWest and CapitalSource will merge in a transaction valued at approximately $2.3 billion. The combined company will be called PacWest Bancorp and the combined subsidiary bank will be called Pacific Western Bank. The CapitalSource national lending operation will continue to do business under the name CapitalSource as a division of Pacific Western Bank.

Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) 6.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.49, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue came in at $1.07 billion versus $1.07 billion expected. Domestic Streaming subs improved 0.63 million to 29.81 million with 28.62 million paid members. International saw a 0.61 million bump higher to 7.75 million total and 7.01 million paid members. Domestic DVD subs fell 0.47 million from the last quarter to 7.51 million. Looking ahead, Netflix sees Q3 2013 EPS of $0.30 to $0.56, versus the consensus of $0.43

Array BioPharma Inc. (Nasdaq: ARRY) 6.1% HIGHER; will report top-line results from a placebo-controlled, randomized, double‑blind Phase 2 trial in mild to moderate persistent allergic asthma for ARRY-502, an oral CRTh2 antagonist and hold a conference call to discuss those results on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Ron Squarer, Chief Executive Officer, will lead the call.

Sanmina-SCI Corp (NASDAQ: SANM) 5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.49 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.48 billion. Sanmina-SCI Corp sees Q4 2013 EPS of $0.37-0.43, versus the consensus of $0.40. Sanmina-SCI Corp sees Q4 2013 revenue of $1.475-1.525 billion, versus the consensus of $1.52 billion.

Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NASDAQ: RCII) 2.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.76, versus the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $760.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $779.38 million.

Texas Instruments (TI) (Nasdaq: TXN) 2% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.42, versus the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.05 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.06 billion. Quarterly EPS would have been $0.58 without a $0.16 benefit from the transfer of wireless connectivity technology to a customer and higher-than-expected charges associated with previously announced restructuring. In the same period last year, TI reported EPS of $0.38 with revenue of $3.34 billion.

Oriental Financial Group (NYSE: OFG) 2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.68. Does not compare to analyst estimate of $0.37.
