SodaStream International (NASDAQ: SODA) is on watch Tuesday on reports from the New York Post that the company has been unsuccessful in its attempt to find a buyer.
The 3-month sale effort has been "very low-key," according to the report and comes amid market rumors of a potential PespiCo (NYSE: PEP) deal, which was later denied.
The Post said PepsiCo was only interested in SodaStream's refill business and not the consumer appliance business, citing a source. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) reportedly isn't interested in acquiring SodaStream.
