Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) 9.6% HIGHER; said the staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today informed the company that it has completed its investigation of, among other things, the accuracy of the Molycorp`s public disclosures, and it is not recommending that any enforcement action be taken against the Company. The SEC initiated its investigation of Molycorp in August 2012.
Accenture (NYSE: ACN) 6.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.14, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.13. Net evenue for the quarter came in at $7.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.42 billion. Total revenue for the quarter were $7.71 billion. Sees FY13 EPS of $4.90 - $4.94, versus prior guidance of $4.89 - $4.97. Accenture sees Q4 2013 revenue of $6.7 - $7.0 billion, versus the consensus of $7.36 billion.
Nike, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) 3.9% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.76, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.64 billion. As of the end of the quarter, worldwide futures orders for NIKE Brand athletic footwear and apparel, scheduled for delivery from June through November 2013 totaled $12.1 billion, 8 percent higher than orders reported for the same period last year.
Calamp Corp. (NASDAQ: CAMP) 1.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.16, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $53.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $52.41 million.
Pfizer, Inc. (NYSE: PFE) 1.3% HIGHER; has authorized a new $10 billion share repurchase program to be utilized over time. This new program is in addition to the $3.9 billion of authorization remaining under the company’s current share repurchase program.
