52-Week High:
  • Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISIS) $27.36. Isis issued an encouraging update from the Phase 2 study of ISIS-APOCIIIRx in patients with high triglycerides and type 2 diabetes. n this study, patients treated with ISIS-APOCIIIRx experienced an 88 percent reduction in apolipoprotein C-III (apoC-III), a 72 percent reduction in triglyceride levels, a 40 percent increase in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), the 'good' cholesterol, and improvements in other atherogenic lipid parameters.

  • Cigna Corp. (NYSE: CI) $71.90. Cigna has been on a tear since hitting a 52-week low almost one year ago. Shares are up 84 percent since last July amid new health care reform that some speculated might have crimped profitability.

  • TransDigm Group (NYSE: TDG) $163.93. TransDigm continuing higher from a positive move last Friday on news that it would acquire the assets of GE Aviation's Electromechanical Actuation Division, of General Electric (NYSE: GE), for approximately $150 million in cash.
52-Week Low:
  • Barrick Gold Corp. (NYSE: ABX) $15.71. Barrick and other gold miners have been hit as gold prices slump with most expecting an early exit to the Fed's bond buying program. Gold lost about 7 percent last week following comments from Fed chairman Ben Bernanke.

  • Walter Energy, Inc. (NYSE: WLT) $10.68. Walter Energy and other coal stocks are getting hit ahead of a climate change announcement expected from President Obama on Tuesday. For more color, click here.

  • Kinross Gold Corp. (NYSE: KGC) $4.85. Lower along with Barrick on waning sentiment behind gold. Shares have dropped 24 percent from levels reached earlier in June.

  • Prospect Global Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: PGRX) $0.08. Prospect still trying to price in its 41.67 million unit offering, which priced at $0.12 per unit last Friday. Each unit consists of one share of common stock, one Series A Warrant to purchase one share of common stock, and one Series B Warrant to purchase one share of common stock and one additional Series A Warrant.
