Facebook (FB) Not Working Directly with NSA; COO Sandberg Has No Plans to Leave

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is lower on Tuesday's session as the company is holding its annual meeting. The following are a few snippets from the event, not verbatim:
  • Mark Zuckerberg is "disappointed" in the company's stock performance;

  • Facebook doesn't work directly with the National Security Agency to proactively provide data;

  • No agency can plug directly into servers for information;

  • The company gives "minimum" amount of information to the government upon requests;

  • Sheryl Sandberg has no plans to step down as COO;

  • Zuckerberg said the company' is "tweaking" its Home product for Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android;

  • The company will stay focused on investing at this point, versus paying dividends; and

  • Sandberg said "likes" and comments are up 50 percent per person in the past year, a hint at more user engagement
