Macy's (NYSE: M) shares are slightly lower on Wednesday's session as litigation over a deal between Martha Stewart Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO) and JCPenney (NYSE: JCP) unfolds.
With opening remarks, a lawyer for Macy's said the retailer was kept "completely in the dark" over the deal for JCPenney to sell Martha Stewart-branded products.
The trial is taking place in New York state court in Manhattan today. Both JCPenney and Martha Stweart Omnimedia are positive on the session.
