Crossing and above:
  • Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ) - up 3.0 percent. H-P ticking higher today with broader markets following a recent selloff and bounce in the stock. Shares have been pressured on Autonomu news as well as overall expectations for the company to turn itself around amid a shrinking PC market.

  • Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) - up 3.1 percent. Up amid earlier news it would be ceasing operations and support for about 11 under-performing titles.

  • Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) - up 2.3 percent. Mentioned at a Top Pick for 2013 by Oracle Investment Research. Click here for more color.

  • Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) - up 2.0 percent. Shares bounced off the $60.50 level, an area of support for the stock recently. Volume today is slightly behind the average pace ahead of the New Year holiday.
Crossing and below:
  • Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) - down 0.1 percent. Lower even after announcing that it and Bristol-Myers (NYSE: BMY) got approval for ELIQUIS by the FDA last Friday. Shares have been ticking lower after making a nice run earlier in December, bringing the 50-day SMA back in-line recently.

  • VIVUS, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVUS) - up 1.2 percent. VIVUS higher amid new data out of Cowen that Qsymia sales in November were up just 30 percent from the prior month. The analyst said growth is missing investor expectations. More insight can be found here.

  • Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: WPI) - down 4.0 percent. Slipping below the $87 support level today. Watson filed a challenge on Millennium Pharmaceuticals' Velcade (bortezomib) last Friday.
