Court Ruling Resurrects Litigation Hopes at Rambus (RMBS)

Analysts at BWS believe that a recent Federal court decision has resurrected litigation hopes at Rambus (Nasdaq: RMBS). The judge stated that RMBS is owed a reasonable and non-discriminatory royalty payment by in a patent case brought by SK Hynix.

There is no indication as to how much RMBS will receive, but the market is once again assessing is on the potential the DRAM patents could generate cash for Rambus, stated analyst Hamed Khorsand.
