While NFC technology is not in the iPhone 5, NXP Semiconductors NV (NASDAQ: NXPI) will still see some notable orders from Apple.
According to analysts at Susquehanna, NXP will still supply: Interface controllers for new dock connector for iPhone; authentication for iPhone/iPod Touch; new power adapter, adapter plug allowing new iPhone to connect to legacy peripherals.
The firm is maintaining their Neutral rating and price target of $23 on NXPI.
