Neuralstem, Inc. (AMEX: CUR) 41.9% HIGHER; announced that its neural stem cells were part of a study, "Long-Distance Growth and Connectivity of Neural Stem Cells After Severe Spinal Cord Injury: Cell-Intrinsic Mechanisms Overcome Spinal Inhibition," published online today in a leading scientific journal CELL. In the study, rats with surgically transected spinal cords, which rendered them permanently and completely paraplegic, were transplanted with Neuralstem's spinal cord stem cells (NSI-566). The study reports that the animals recovered significant locomotor function, regaining movement in all lower extremity joints, and that the transplanted neural stem cells turned into neurons which grew a "remarkable" number of axons that extended for "very long distances" over 17 spinal segments, making connections both above and below the point of severance.

Pluristem Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTI) 14.3% LOWER; has priced a firm commitment underwritten public offering of 8,000,000 units, with each unit consisting of one share of the company's common stock and one warrant to purchase 0.35 of a share of the company's common stock, at a purchase price of $4.00 per unit for an aggregate gross offering amount of $32 million.

Cleveland BioLabs, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBLI) 11.4% HIGHER; moving well above the $2.10 - $2.15 level today.

PMFG, Inc. (Nasdaq: PMFG) 10.2%% HIGHER; bouncing after dropping 15 percent Wednesday on earnings.

Bridgepoint Education (NYSE: BPI) 8.8% LOWER; seeing some weakness below the $11 price level on volume today.

Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) 8.2% HIGHER; has approved a plan for Equinix to pursue conversion to a real estate investment trust (REIT). Equinix's Board reached this decision after thorough analysis of various structures, including alternative financing, capital, and tax strategies, designed to maximize long-term shareholder value. If Equinix is ultimately successful in the conversion process, Equinix expects to elect REIT status for its taxable year beginning January 1, 2015.

DUSA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUSA) 8.2% HIGHER; reported statistically significant results from an investigational study designed to examine and compare the safety and efficacy of broad area application of the Levulan Kerastick with or without occlusive dressing (where the treatment area is covered or wrapped) in conjunction with the BLU-U for the treatment of minimally to moderately thick actinic keratoses (AKs) on the upper extremities. China Green Agriculture (NYSE: CGA) 7.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.41, versus $0.38 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $57.3 million, versus $60.3 million reported last year.
