Ann, Inc. (NYSE: ANN) 21.4% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.63, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $594.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $586.27 million. Total Company comparable sales for the quarter increased 4.7% versus the second quarter of 2011. Sees Q3 2012 revenue of $600 million, versus the consensus of $605.7 million. Ann also sees FY2012 revenue of $2.385 billion, versus the consensus of $2.37 billion.

Checkpoint Systems Inc. (NYSE: CKP) 18.5% HIGHER; looks to have caught a bid above the $7.50 level. Volume is heavy Friday.

Wave Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: WAVX) 16.5% HIGHER; continuing higher after announcing the launch of Wave Cloud, a cloud-based service for enterprise-wide management of self-encrypting drives (SEDs) on Thursday.

Oplink Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPLK) 15.7% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.19, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $44.8 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.16-0.22, versus the consensus of $0.16. Oplink Communications, Inc. sees Q1 2012 revenue of $43-46 million, versus the consensus of $46.8 million.

Marvell Technology Group (Nasdaq: MRVL) 15.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.24, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $816 million versus the consensus estimate of $854.15 million. Marvell guided to third-quarter 2013 revs of $800 million to $850 million and adjusted EPS of 24 cents +/- 2 cents, versus consensus views calling for revs of $912.9 million and EPS of 32 cents. Lake Shore Gold Corp. (AMEX: LSG) 14.5% LOWER; announced that it increased the size of its previously announced public offering, on a "bought deal" basis, to C$90 million principal amount of convertible senior unsecured debentures, at a price of C$1,000 per debenture, with an interest rate of 6.25 percent per annum, payable semi-annually on the last day of March and September commencing on March 31, 2013.

China Hydroelectric (NYSE: CHC) 12.3% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.12, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $33.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $25.68 million.

ION Geophysical Corporation (NYSE: IO) 11.2% LOWER; announced the jury returned a verdict against ION in a patent infringement lawsuit filed against ION by WesternGeco L.L.C. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas...The jury found that ION willfully infringed the claims contained in WesternGeco's patents and awarded WesternGeco the sum of $105.9 million in damages, consisting of $12.5 million in reasonable royalty and $93.4 million in lost profits.

iSoftStone Holdings (NYSE: ISS) 11.0% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.14, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $92 million versus the consensus estimate of $90.34 million. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.17, versus the consensus of $0.21. iSoftStone Holdings sees Q3 2012 revenue of $98 million. Also sees FY2012 EPS of $0.65, versus the consensus of $0.72. iSoftStone Holdings sees FY2012 revenue of $386.5 million, versus the consensus of $382.16 million.
