Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Sonic (NASDAQ: SONC) price target of $8.00.
Analyst, Jeffrey A. Bernstein previews SONC's Q3 earnings report, saying he expects EPS of $0.23 along with margins up 75 basis points to 16.5%. (Consensus is $0.22)
On out, Bernstein, said, "We continue to expect high-single-digit EPS growth in F12, before a return to low-double-digit growth in F13... we don't expect F13 guidance in the 3QF12 release. System comps have improved sequentially (on a 2 year basis) over the past 3 quarters, benefiting from continued favorable weather, along with service, product quality and marketing initiatives."
