Zhongpin Inc. (Nasdaq: HOGS) 27.3% HIGHER; has received a preliminary, non-binding proposal from its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Xianfu Zhu, which stated that Mr. Zhu intends to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the Company's common stock not currently owned by him in a going private transaction at a proposed price of $13.50 per share in cash.

Kingold Jewelry (Nasdaq: KGJI) 19% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.06, versus $0.12 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $168.4 million, versus $184.94 million reported last year.

XOMA (Nasdaq: XOMA) 17.7% HIGHER; continuing higher following a breakout above the 200-day SMA yesterday. Shares were up more than 8 percent yesterday. Volume is extremely heavy Tuesday.

China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources (AMEX: SHZ) 15.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.04, versus ($0.08) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.4 million, versus $4.9 million reported last year.

Crown Crafts (NASDAQ: CRWS) 14.7% HIGHER; declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, or $0.32 annualized. This is a 100% increase from the prior dividend of $0.04. The dividend will be payable on July 6, 2012, to stockholders of record on June 15, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of June 13, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 7.4 percent.

Neurocrine Biosciences (Nasdaq: NBIX) 13.2% LOWER; reports data from a Phase II study of VMAT2 inhibitor NBI-98854 for tardive dyskinesia did not meet the primary endpoint

EPAM Systems (NYSE: EPAM) 13.1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.30, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $95.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $89.3 million. EPAM Systems sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.28-$0.30, versus the consensus of $0.22 and revenue of $92-$94 million, versus the consensus of $91.6 million. Sees FY2012 revenue of $411-$418 million, versus the consensus of $408.6 million.

McMoRan Exploration Co (NYSE: MMR) 11.3% LOWER; shares are getting hit early on, down about 14 percent for the session, on news related to its Davy Jones No. 1 well.

Document Security Systems (AMEX: DSS) 10.8% LOWER; the stock has fallen almost everyday since report Q4 results on March 19th. Including today's decline, shares are down more than 25 percent over the last five trading sessions.

ValueVision (Nasdaq: VVTV) 9.2% LOWER; shares continuing lower after breaking below the 200-day SMA yesterday afternoon. Volume is heavy today.
