Janney Montgomery Scott maintains a 'Buy' on Hot Topic (NASDAQ: HOTT) price target raised $2 to $11.
JMS analyst said, "On March 7, 2012, after the market close, HOTT reported a 4Q11 EPS slight beat of $0.21 versus the Street and our estimate of $0.20, and management guidance of $0.19 to $0.20...We believe the Hot Topic division is also succeeding in driving traffic with Hunger Games merchandise, and we expect traffic to continue to build ahead of the movie release on March 23, 2012, likely peaking during the week of the release."
"We are raising our FY12 and FY13 EPS estimates; our FY12 estimate goes to $0.36 from $0.21 (versus consensus at $0.28), and our FY13 estimate goes to $0.42 from $0.25 (versus consensus at $0.30)."
