Shoretel, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOR) 17.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.03, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $58 million versus the consensus estimate of $55.63 million. The stock was downgraded at Craig-Hallum.

Education Management Corp (NASDAQ: EDMC) 17.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.49, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $737.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $747.4 million. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.27-$0.28, versus the consensus of $0.42. Sees FY2012 EPS of $1.08-$1.12, versus the consensus of $1.34.

Discovery Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: DSCO) 17% HIGHER; today announced AFECTAIR® is now registered with the FDA and is cleared to be marketed in the United States. AFECTAIR is a proprietary patient interface technology that simplifies delivery of aerosolized medications to patients requiring ventilator support.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ: GMCR) 16.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.60, $0.24 better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.16 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.06 billion.

Rofin-Sinar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: RSTI) 16% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.28, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $131.57 million versus the consensus estimate of $140.33 million. Sees Q2 2012 EPS of $0.27-$0.30, versus the consensus of $0.37. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $130-$135 million, versus the consensus of $141.98 million.

Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: CELL) 15.9% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.34, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.56 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.39 billion. Lowered its FY12 adj-EPS guidance from $1.08-$1.20 to $1.07-$1.17, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.16.

RealD (NYSE: RLD) 15.7% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.05, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter came in at $49.03 million versus the consensus estimate of $42.25 million.

Open Text Corp (NASDAQ: OTEX) 14.3% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.39, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $1.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $321.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $312.15 million. The stock was upgraded to Buy at Stifel Nicolaus earlier.

China Medical Technologies (Nasdaq: CMED) 14.3% LOWER; Fitch withdrew its rating on the company.

Mattson Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTSN) 14.2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.07), $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $41.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $36.25 million. The stock was upgraded at Craig-Hallum.

GMX Resources (Nasdaq: GMXR) 13.8% HIGHER; to suspend drilling of core east Texas gas assets. Issues Q4 production of 4.8 bcfe, sees Q1 production of 591,000 boe. The stock was upgraded at Stifel Nicolaus.

Dice Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHX) 13.4% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.15, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $47.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $47.33 million. Sees Q1 2012 revenue of $46 million, versus the consensus of $46.83 million. Sees FY2012 revenue of $197 million, versus the consensus of $201.09 million.

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) 12.4% LOWER; reports total sales for Q4 were $1.329 billion, up 16 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales were flat. Sees Q4 adj-EPS of $1.10-$1.15, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.55. Sees FY12 EPS of $3.50-$3.75, vs. the consensus of $2.73.

Brinks Co. (NYSE: BCO) 11.4% LOWER; reported Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $0.56, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $997 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.05 billion.

RailAmerica (NYSE: RA) 10.9% HIGHER; today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Marquette Rail LLC for $40 million subject to final adjustments for working capital. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and Surface Transportation Board approval.

BioScrip, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOS) 10.9% HIGHER; Walgreen Co. (NYSE: WAG) and the company today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Walgreens would acquire certain assets of BioScrip's community specialty pharmacies and centralized specialty and mail service pharmacy businesses and BioScrip would receive a total deal value of approximately $225 million.

Elizabeth Arden, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDEN) 10.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.42, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $1.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $429.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $428.89 million. Elizabeth Arden, Inc. reaffirmed FY2012 guidance. Elizabeth Arden, Inc. sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.00-$0.04, versus the consensus of $0.06. Elizabeth Arden, Inc. sees Q3 2012 revenue of $238-$243 million, versus the consensus of $243.45 million.

Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS) 10% HIGHER; reports total sales for the month of January were $833 million, down 1 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales fell 4 percent. The company announced diluted earnings per share guidance for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011 to be in the range of $0.41 to $0.42, above First Call consensus of $0.35. In addition, it expects year-end inventory dollars per store to be below previous guidance.

Entropic Communications (NASDAQ: ENTR) 9.9% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.12, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $56.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $55.59 million.

Sandridge (NYSE: SD) 9.7% LOWER; to buy Dynamic Offshore for $1.275 billion in cash and shares.

Concur Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR) 9.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.32, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $100.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $98.81 million. UBS upgraded the stock earlier.
