Columbia Labs’ (Nasdaq: CRBX) 55.7% LOWER; the FDA panel declared Columbia Labs’ data on preterm birth gel wasn’t sufficient. The panel voted 13 to 4 in favor of not supporting the preterm birth gel.

Minefinders (AMEX: MFN) 22.4% HIGHER; Pan American (Nasdaq: PAAS) confirms offer to acquire Minefinders at C$15.60 per share, or about C$1.5 billion. The deal is made up of 0.6235 shares or all cash.

Twin Disc, Incorporated (NASDAQ: TWIN) 21% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.51, $0.25 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.76. Revenue for the quarter came in at $82.94 million versus the consensus estimate of $89.88 million.

BroadVision Inc (Nasdaq: BVSN) 17.9% HIGHER; continuing higher this week. Shares are up 190 percent this year.

Lakes Entertainment (Nasdaq: LACO) 16.8% HIGHER; breaking over the $2 level today.

YRC Worldwide (Nasdaq: YRCW) 16.2% HIGHER; retaking the $12 level on very heavy volume.

LiveDeal (Nasdaq: LIVE) 15.8% HIGHER; the company announced it fired Kevin A. Hall, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective as of January 20, 2012. LIVE appointed Jon Isaac to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Isaac was previously appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors on December 12, 2011.

AMN Healthcare Services (NYSE: AHS) 13.9% HIGHER; BMO Capital upgraded AMN Healthcare Services from its previous rating of Market Perform to Outperform, while reaffirming its $7 price target.

Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXA) 13.4% LOWER; announced today that the U.S. FDA will require additional time to complete its review of the New Drug Application for ADASUVE (Staccato loxapine). In a notice received from the FDA, the Prescription Drug User Fee Act date for the ADASUVE NDA has been extended from February 4, 2012 to May 4, 2012.
