Goldman Sachs provided thoughts on their HCIT coverage universe and made positive comments on top picks including Conviction Buy-list rated Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN), Buy-rated Accretive Health (NYSE: AH), and Buy-rated Computer Programs and Systems (Nasdaq: CPSI) following recent meetings with investors and management.
On Cerner, the firm said they see an acceleration in the electronic medical record replacement cycle in 2012 favoring the company. Also, 2012 should see expansion of several multi-billion dollar industries not currently in models.
On Accretive Health, the firm notes 63% EBITDA growth forecasted through 2013. the firm sees upside optionality from several additional Quality and Total Cost of Care (QTCOC) contracts and better-than-expected EBITDA margin leverage.
On Computer Programs & Systems, the firm CITES THE 6% dividend yield and IS looking at a blowout 1H 2012. The firm sees upside optionality from SaaS contract conversion and M&A candidate.
