Gildan Activewear Inc. (NYSE: GIL) 29% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.42, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $481.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $497.5 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $-0.40, versus the consensus of $0.29. Gildan sees Q1 2012 revenue of $300 million, versus the consensus of $451.06 million. Gildan sees FY2012 EPS of $1.30, versus the consensus of $2.27. Also sees FY2012 revenue of $1.9 billion, versus the consensus of $2.15 billion.

Magma Design (Nasdaq: LAVA) 24.5% HIGHER; Synopsys (Nasdaq: SNPS) to acquire Magma for $7.35/share in cash.

Bon-Ton (Nasdaq: BONT) 23.6% HIGHER; reports total sales for the month of November were $303.6 million, fell 4.9 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales fell 4.9 percent.

La-z-boy, Inc. (NYSE: LZB) 19% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.15, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $307.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $310.3 million. Same-store written sales for the 309 La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries® store network increased 9.2%.

Transcept Pharma (Nasdaq: TSPT) 18.9% HIGHER; late Wednesday evening the company announced Purdue has exercised its option to commercialize Intermezzo® in the United States. Purdue plans to launch Intermezzo in the second quarter of 2012 and to invest approximately $100 million to support sales and marketing during the first year of commercialization.

Dex One (Nasdaq: DEXO) 18.3% HIGHER; following an 80+ percent surge on Monday and Tuesday, the stock fell about 16 percent yesterday and is bouncing, holding over the $1 level today.

Assured Guaranty Corp. (NYSE: AGO) 17% HIGHER; S&P revised ratings from AA+ to AA-; outlook Negative.

FSI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSII) 15.8% HIGHER; announced today that it received follow-on orders for its ORION® Single Wafer Cleaning System from two leading semiconductor producers.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) 15.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.17), $0.20 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.89 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.98 billion. The company expects full year EBITDA to be at the lower end of the previously issued range of $210 million to $250 million.

Movado Group, Inc. (NYSE: MOV) 14.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.65, $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $142.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.4 million. Movado Group, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $0.93-$0.98, versus prior guidance of $0.60-$0.65 and the consensus of $0.69.

Verso Paper (NYSE: VRS) 13.9% HIGHER; bouncing off support around $1.10-$1.15ish today. Shares are back over $1.25 at last check.

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) 11.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.27, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $230.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $235.74 million. Comps surge 16%. Lululemon Athletica, Inc. sees Q4 2011 EPS of $0.40-$0.42, versus the consensus of $0.42. Lululemon Athletica, Inc. sees Q4 2011 revenue of $327-$332 million, versus the consensus of $327.3 million.

Uti Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: UTIW) 9.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.28, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.27 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion.

Finisar Corp (NASDAQ: FNSR) 8.4% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.23, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $241.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $242.27 million.
