Shares of Visa (NYSE: V) are hovering close to an all-time high of $97.19 Wednesday. The stock is up more than 3.2 percent to $95.88 at last check.
While the company has recently been quiet on the news front, a new almost 2.3 million share stake by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway disclosed in mid-November may have given investors that extra bit of confidence.
Analysts are also behind the stock: out of 34 analyst firms covering the stock, 14 are currently at Strong Buy and 13 are at Buy.
Notably, close peer MasterCard (NYSE: MA) recently marked a fresh all-time high at $373.55 on November 15th.
