Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 11/22: (BWEN) (STP) (FMCN) Higher; (FRO) (SFL) (OSG) Lower

Frontline (NYSE: FRO) 39.7% LOWER; reported Q3 loss of 57 cents per share, 14 cents better than the analyst estimate calling for a loss of 71 cents per share. The Board of Directors has decided not to declare a dividend for the third quarter of 2011. The company said it could run out of cash sometime in its first quarter.

Broadwind Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: BWEN) 25% HIGHER; will manufacture welded sub-assemblies for Caterpillar’s (NYSE: CAT) lines of large draglines, crawlers and excavating equipment. These components will be produced in Broadwind’s facilities in Abilene, Texas and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This work, along with the expansion of Broadwind’s wind tower business in 2012, should create approximately 50 new jobs.

Ship Finance International (NYSE: SFL) 20% LOWER trading lower on concerning results and comments out of Frontline.

Suntech Power Holdings (NYSE: STP) 17 HIGHER; reported Q3 loss of 19 cents per share, which was 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of a loss of 26 cents per share. Revenue for the quarter came in at $830.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $766.1 million. Sees FY2011 revenue of $3.0 to $3.1 billion, versus the consensus of $3.14 billion. For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011, Suntech expects to ship at least 2GW of solar products. This compares to previous shipment guidance of 2.2GW and revenue guidance $3.2 to $3.4 billion. In the fourth quarter of 2011, Suntech expects PV shipments to decrease by approximately 20 percent compared with the third quarter of 2011. Suntech expects gross margin will be in the range of 9 to 11 percent in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Perfect World Co.,Ltd. (NASDAQ: PWRD) 16.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.53, $0.14 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.67. Revenue for the quarter came in at $111.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $111.73 million. Based on the Company's current operations, total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2011 are expected to be between RMB695 million and RMB737 million, representing a range similar to the revenues in the third quarter of 2011, but still an increase of 18% to 26% on a year-over-year basis.

Alcatel-Lucent, S.A. (NYSE: ALU) 15% LOWER;shares are getting hammered Tuesday as traders continue to consider liquidity concerns at the communications company. Focus Media Holding Limited (Nasdaq: FMCN) 14.5% HIGHER; following a call to discuss yesterday's negative Muddy Waters report and the resulting 40 percent decline, announced its intention to continue purchasing shares pursuant to its previously announced share repurchase program. In addition, the Company also announced that today chairman Jason Jiang will purchase US$11 million in Focus Media ADSs in a block trade.

Brocade Communications Systems (Nasdaq: BRCD) 13.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 adjusted EPS of 16 cents, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of 10 cents. Revenue for the quarter came in at $550 million versus the consensus estimate of $527.38 million. Sees Q1 adjusted EPS of 12 to 14 cents on sales of $530 to $550 million. The Street is currently looking for Q1 EPS of 11 cents on sales of $535.29 million.

Complete Genomics (Nasdaq: GNOM) 11.7% HIGHER; seem to be breaking out above the 200-day smooth moving average this afternoon. Volume spiked sharply as the stock pushed over this technical level. Shares are flirting with the $4.50 level currently.

Trina Solar Ltd. (NYSE: TSL) 10% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.45), $0.47 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $481.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $533.1 million. Total shipments were 370.1 MW, compared to 396.4 MW in the second quarter of 2011 and 290.5 MW in the third quarter of 2010. For the fourth quarter of 2011, the Company expects to ship between 320 MW to 350 MW of PV modules. Reduces its FY11 PV module shipment guidance from 1.75-1.8GW to about 1.4GW.
