Medivation, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDVN) 114% HIGHER; the company and partner Astellas Pharma said the Independent Data Monitoring Committee informed them of positive results from a planned interim analysis of the Phase 3 AFFIRM trial of MDV3100 in men with advanced prostate cancer. MDV3100 successfully met the study's pre-specified interim efficacy stopping criteria, demonstrating a clinically meaningful and statistically significant (p < 0.0001) improvement in overall survival compared to placebo.

ValueVision Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVTV) 39.4% LOWER; reported preliminary Q3 revs of $135 million, below the $144.14 million expected. The Company expects negative adjusted EBITDA in the range of ($0.5 million) to ($0.7 million), compared to adjusted EBITDA of $0.6 million in the year-ago period.

Dendreon Corp (NASDAQ: DNDN) 35.9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.56), $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.69). Revenue for the quarter came in at $64.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $62.98 million. The stock was downgraded at Goldman Sachs.

Mercado Libre, Inc. (NASDAQ: MELI) 33.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.60, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $81.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $78.67 million.

K-Swiss, Inc. (NASDAQ: KSWS) 31.8% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.43), $0.16 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.27). Revenue for the quarter came in at $80.46 million versus the consensus estimate of $88.09 million. K-Swiss, Inc. sees FY2011 revenue of $260 million, versus the consensus of $278.36 million.

Furniture Brands International, Inc. (NYSE: FBN) 24.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.45), $0.27 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenue for the quarter came in at $258 million versus the consensus estimate of $276.98 million.

Hansen Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: HNSN) 24.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.18), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.15). Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $5.49 million.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT) 24.3% LOWER; reports total sales for the month of October were $192.0 million, down 10.4 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales fell 10.2 percent. Keith Plowman, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, stated, “Based on lower than expected sales in the third quarter and a more conservative outlook for the fourth quarter, we are revising our full-year fiscal 2011 guidance to reflect EBITDA to be $190 million to $210 million, earnings per diluted share to be $(0.65) to $0.25 and cash flow to be $25 million to $40 million. We will provide more detail on our fiscal 2011 outlook in our earnings press release on November 17.” The Street sees a third-quarter loss of 36 cents per share.

Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (Amex: UWN) 22.9% LOWER; today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with certain institutional investors for a registered direct placement of approximately $4.3 million of common stock at a price of $1.65 per share. The Company will issue an aggregate of 2,625,681 shares of common stock.

Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) 22.8% HIGHER; reports total sales for the month of October were $596.5 million, down 1 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales down 9 percent. Sharply raises its Q3 EPS guidance from 9-15 cents to 27-28 cents, vs. the consensus of 12 cents.

RealD (NYSE: RLD) 21.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.33, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $88 million versus the consensus estimate of $94.43 million.

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) 21.6% LOWER; reports total sales for Q3 were $1.076 billion, up 21 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales rose 7 percent. Said "Same store sales for the quarter reflected an acceleration in the trend for US chain stores, which was more than offset by a slowing trend in Europe, including negative comps for flagship stores. Japan and Canada also continued to comp negatively. AUR was approximately flat on a constant currency basis."

Anika Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANIK) 20.9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.22, vs. the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $18.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $15.1 million.

Advanced Analogic Tech (Nasdaq: AATI) 20.8% LOWER; falling as Skyworks (Nasdaq: SWKS) has raised questions about GAAP results in regards to certain sales for the company's quarter ended June 30. A judge has denied the company's request for a restraining order from Skyworks.

GMX Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: GMXR) 20.2% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $1.21 vs. the analyst estimate of ($0.02).

DexCom, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXCM) 18.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.20), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.16). Revenue for the quarter came in at $18.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $19.05 million. The stock was downgraded at SunTrust and Morgan Keegan.

Fair Isaac Corp. (NYSE: FICO) 18% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.64, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Career Education (Nasdaq: CECO) 15.8% LOWER; continuing lower following a nearly 50 percent decline yesterday on news its CEO has resigned. The stock was downgraded at Wunderlich this morning and at BofA late yesterday.

Callon Petroleum (NYSE: CPE) 15.7% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.21, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $33.55 million versus the consensus estimate of $33.25 million.

WebMD Health Corp. (NASDAQ: WBMD) 14.4% LOWER; reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.20, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $135.94 million.
