Zoom Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOOM) 30.1% HIGHER; has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 55% share of Portables Unlimited LLC.

Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR) 29.1% HIGHER; shares initially moved higher following preliminary Q3 sales of $332 million, vs. the consensus of $321.6 million. Also expecting quarterly ending subscribers of about 9.5 million and net wholesale subscriber additions of 1.9 million. Another leg higher came just after 1pm ET amid rumors MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) may use Clearwire spectrum.

Rosetta Genomics, Ltd. (Nasdaq: ROSG) 27.5% LOWER; today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with investors to purchase an aggregate of $1.9 million in securities in a private placement transaction. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about October 18, 2011, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions

KV Pharma (NYSE: KV-A) 23.1% HIGHER; reports a doctors group said Makena, compounds differ. Click here to see the full report.

Zep (NYSE: ZEP) 19.5% LOWER; reported Q4 adjusted EPS of $0.24, 13 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $173.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $175.56 million.

TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TQNT) 18.5% HIGHER; a break-down at iFixIt.com of Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone 4S shows a couple chips from TriQuint.

Global Ship Lease (NYSE: GSL) 18.4% HIGHER; stock continue to bounce over the $2 level today. Shares jumped more than 14 percent yesterday. Volume is heavy today.

Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI) 16.5% LOWER; reports it expects preliminary revenues for its third quarter ended September 30, 2011 to be approximately $12.6 million. This estimate is derived from preliminary results of operations that are unaudited and subject to completion of the financial closing process for this period. The Street was looking for revs of $17.7 million.

Sina Corp. (Nasdaq: SINA) 14.3% HIGHER; a Susquehanna analyst this morning suggested China's Deputy Minister of Propaganda emphasized Weibo's positive social impact during a meeting of the National Internet Information office.

Wet Seal (Nasdaq: WTSLA) 8.2% LOWER; seems to be some general profit taking this afternoon as the stock is up nearly 11 percent over the four prior trading sessions.

Cal Dive (NYSE: DVR) 8.2% LOWER; traders selling a recent move higher today. The stock is up 28 percent since the beginning of this week.
