Collective Brands (NYSE: PSS) 19% HIGHER; Board announced it will explore strategic alternatives. Reported Q2 EPS of $0.16, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $882.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $868.02 million.

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) 16.9% HIGHER; announced today that it reached an agreement to sell 50,000 shares of Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock with a liquidation value of $100,000 per share to Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A) in a private offering.

Aviat Networks (Nasdaq: AVNW) 16.5% LOWER; CFO resigns. Reports Q4 adj-EPS of 5c, vs. consensus of 2c, sales of $120.9 million. Sees Q1 sales of $100-$110 million.

Life Partners Holdings (Nasdaq: LPHI) 16% LOWER; traders taking profits following a recent run-up. The stock surged 60 percent over the last 2 weeks.

Tivo, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) 15.9% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.17), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.20). Revenue for the quarter came in at $61.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $47.6 million. Plans $100 million common buyback. Sees Q3 sales of $49 to $51 million, versus the $49.7 million consensus.

Brown Shoe Co., Inc. (NYSE: BWS) 15.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.06), $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $628.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $638.23 million. Sees FY2011 EPS of $0.85-$0.97, versus the consensus of $1.16. Brown Shoe Co., Inc. sees FY2011 revenue of $2.68-$2.71 billion, versus the consensus of $2.75 billion. Announced it will sell its AND 1 unit in a $55 million cash deal.

Sigma Designs, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIGM) 11.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.44), $0.42 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $46.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $52.44 million.

Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME) 11.6% HIGHER; following earnings on Tuesday night, the stock was upgraded to Buy at Deutsche Bank this morning.

Solera Holdings (NYSE: SLH) 11.4% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.62, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $182.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $175.53 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $2.85-$2.90, versus the consensus of $2.83. Solera Holdings sees FY2012 revenue of $822-$832 million, versus the consensus of $811.09 million.

Patterson Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDCO) 9% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.45, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $847.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $872.94 million. Reaffirms its FY12 outlook: EPS of $1.90-$2, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.96.

A123 Systems (Nasdaq: AONE) 8% HIGHER; ALTe today announced a long-term supply agreement with A123 for complete lithium ion battery packs to be integrated into ALTe's range-extended hybrid electric powertrain systems.
