KBR (NYSE: KBR) has been awarded the second phase of a multi-phase expansion at DuPont’s (NYSE: DD) Chestnut Run Plaza, the company’s suburban campus in Wilmington, Del.
Designed to support up to 800 employees, Building 735 will consist of four levels of office space, breakout and conference rooms with a customer care center on the second floor. Building 735 is sited adjacent to Building 730, currently under construction by the Building Group. Similar in design, both buildings are expected to achieve U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Gold certification. Building 735 is slated to open in 2013. The Building Group’s Washington, D.C., office based in Vienna, Va., is responsible for both projects.
