Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO) announced today that it intends to offer senior notes to fund its acquisition of Phadia.
The aggregate purchase price of this transaction is estimated to be €2.47 billion (approximately $3.5 billion). The Phadia acquisition was announced by the company on May 19, 2011.
