Morning Movers 07/14: (VALV) (UFPI) (OSN) Higher; (TAT) (RTI) (KGJI) Lower

Shengkai Innovations (Nasdaq: VALV) 22.4% HIGHER; continuing higher after running up late yesterday. The stock rose nearly 40 percent during the back half of yesterday's session. The stock is holding above the $2 level today.

Universal Forest Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: UFPI) 18.7% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.22, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $544.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $568.93 million. The company also named Matt Missad as its new CEO.

Ossen Innovation (Nasdaq: OSN) 14.3% HIGHER; seems to have broken out from a near-term resistance level around $3.25. Volume is very heavy today.

Icagen (Nasdaq: ICGN) 12% HIGHER; moving above the $6 level today. Shares are remaining above the 200-day SMA.

Discovery Labs (Nasdaq: DSCO) 11.8% HIGHER; bounced right off the 200-day average at this morning's open.

TransAtlantic Petroleum (AMEX: TAT) 10% LOWER; plunged following the release of EIA US nat-gas stockpiles data.

RTI International Metals (NYSE: RTI) 10% LOWER; Goldman Sachs downgraded the stock from Neutral to Sell, and cuts its price target from $40 to $31 suggesting 17% downside.

Pervasive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: PVSW) 9% HIGHER; today announced that financial results for the fourth quarter ending June 30, 2011 are expected to exceed the company's financial guidance previously provided on April 19, 2011. The company now expects total revenue for the fourth quarter to be in the range of $13.5 million to $13.7 million and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share of $0.06 to $0.07. Guidance for the fourth quarter given in the company's April 19, 2011 press release was for revenue in the range of $11.2 million to $12.2 million and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share of $0.01 to $0.04. Revenue and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share for the June quarter of last fiscal year were $11.7 million and $0.05.

Adolor (Nasdaq: ADLR) 8.3% HIGHER; traders are buying the dip today following a 15 percent slide over the last two trading sessions.

Frequency Electronics Inc. (NASDAQ: FEIM) 8.3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.55, versus $0.02 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.9 million, versus $13.1 million reported last year.

Rediff.com (Nasdaq: REDF) 8.2% HIGHER; bouncing once again today; the stock was up more than 7 percent yesterday. Shares are flirting with the $13 level.

Kingold Jewelry (Nasdaq: KGJI) 7.4% LOWER; traders taking profits today following a 25 percent rise yesterday as gold marked a fresh all-time high.
