JCPenney (NYSE: JCP) reports total sales for the month of June were $1.545 billion, down 0.3 percent from the same period last year. Same store sales rose 2 percent.
Cuts its Q2 operating EPS guidance from 26-30 cents to about 6 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 20 cents.
