Icagen, Inc. (Nasdaq: ICGN) 121% HIGHER; Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is evaluating the possibility of entering into a strategic transaction with Icagen.

Tiens Biotech Group, Inc. (AMEX: TBV) 58.3% HIGHER; Chairman and CEO Jinyuan Li has offered to take the company private at $1.72 per share. The exec currently owns more than 95 percent of the company's outstanding shares.

YRC Worldwide, Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW) 47.4% HIGHER; continuing higher from last week. Might be gaining from a financial blog article over the weekend, highlighting some of the best AYM Capital, LLC, picks. YRC ended last week about 67 percent better, which is carrying over into this week on strong volume.

Pain Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PTIE) 34.9% LOWER; reports that the FDA has determined that the NDA for REMOXY is not approved.

Continucare Corporation (NYSE: CNU) 30.7% HIGHER; Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. (NYSE: MDF) and Continuecare have entered into a definitive merger agreement whereby Metropolitan will acquire Continucare in a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately $416 million at the time of announcement.

XOMA Ltd. (Nasdaq: XOMA) 20.5% HIGHER; announced the first presentation of results from its discovery of two new classes of fully human monoclonal antibodies that activate or sensitize the insulin receptor in vivo, each representing a distinct new therapeutic approach to the treatment of patients with diabetes. Hampton Roads Bankshares Inc. (Nasdaq: HMPR) 19.0% LOWER; continuing from a late-day drop last Friday, when shares saw a spike in volume as they got through the $14 price level. Shares closed 10.4 percent lower from a sell-off that began 10 minutes to the close.

Fusion-io Inc. (NYSE: FIO) 13.7% HIGHER; the storage company showing some signs of life post-IPO today. The move higher is being made on decidedly lower volume. Volatility in the stock is also elevated. The stock hasn't closed in the red since June 16. Over this course, shares are up 68 percent.

ICO Global (Nasdaq: ICOG) 13.0% LOWER; giving back gains and then some from a nearly 13 percent rise on Friday.

Zhongpin (Nasdaq: HOGS) 11.4% LOWER; likely falling on the back of rumors Muddy Waters is expected to release a negative research note on peer China Yurun.

Universal Forest Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: UFPI) 11.7% LOWER; announced measures to align its costs with its current business. Specifically year-to-date net sales through May 2011 were down 9.5 percent to $765 million, including a decline of 15.0 percent in net sales to retail customers. In addition the lumber market declined for 11 consecutive weeks from March 2011 through the end of May 2011. That decline, coupled with significantly higher fuel prices, contributed to a decline in gross margin to 10.5 percent, or a year-to-date decline of 2.2 percent in May 2011 from the same period of 2010. The decline in year-over-year net sales was due, in part, to lower lumber prices in 2011.
