Opnext, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPXT) 32.4% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.01), $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter came in at $95.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $96.27 million. Sees Q112 revenue of $93-$97 million, versus the consensus of $95.85 million.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) 29.8% HIGHER; announced late Thursday that it has received a proposal from John Malone's Liberty Media (Nasdaq: LINTA) to acquire the Company at a price of $17 per share in cash.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (NASDAQ: RRGB) 20.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.58, $0.33 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $281.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $283.49 million. Company owned comps were up 1.9% for the quarter.

Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) 18.2% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.20, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $469.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $477.05 million. Sees FY2011 GAAP EPS of $0.11-$0.16, versus the consensus of $0.27. Comps down 7%.

Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) 17.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.40, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $3.3 billion. Gap, Inc. sees FY2011 EPS of $1.40-$1.50, versus prior guidance of $1.88-$1.93 and the consensus of $1.84.

China Yuchai International Limited (NYSE: CYD) 15% LOWER; reports Boo Guan Saw will not be seeking re-election as a director of the Company at its Annual General Meeting scheduled for June 17, 2011. The move is result of his retirement from the company as President. In view of Mr Saw's decision not to stand for re-election, the Board of Directors of the Company has appointed its Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Weng Ming Hoh acting President of China Yuchai.

Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN) 14.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.16, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $105.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $98.1 million. Sees Q4 adj-EPS of 16-17c, vs. the consensus of 16c, sales of $107-$109 million, vs. the Street estimate of $105.8 million.

Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOR) 14.3% HIGHER; the company and Biogen Idec (NASDAQ: BIIB) announced that FAMPYRA has been granted a positive opinion for conditional approval from the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use.

Zale Corp (NYSE: ZLC) 13% HIGHER; BofA/Merrill Lynch upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy.

Kirkland's, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIRK) 12.6% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.15, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $94.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $94.3 million. Sees Q2 EPS of 1-5c, vs. the consensus of 11c. Sees sales of $92-$94 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $96.5 million. Sees same-store sales down in the mid-single digit range. Sees FY11 EPS of $0.95-$1.05, vs. the consensus of $1.22. Sales are expected to grow 6-8%.

Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL) 12.1% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.60, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.45 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion. First quarter comparable-store sales increased 12.8 percent.

Vermillion (Nasdaq: VRML) 11.6% HIGHER; spiked sharply higher in early-morning trade yet we did not hear any news as the stock spiked. Last night a Vermillion holder, Manchester Management said it would withhold its proxy vote.

STEC, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEC) 11.3% HIGHER; insiders disclosed purchases after the close. Manouch Moshayedi Chairman/CEO buys 238,019 shares. Pres/COO Mark Moshayedi buys 200,00 shares.

Kenexa (Nasdaq: KNXA) 10.2% HIGHER; prices 3 million shares at $27.75 per share.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) 9.9% LOWER; has postponed its proposed offering of U.S. dollar-denominated senior notes due to recent market conditions. LDK Solar originally planned to use the funds to pay down its short-term debts, but the recent increase in interest rates exceeded its original expectations. The stock was also downgraded at Kaufman earlier.

Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE: SMI) 9.3% LOWER; continuing lower today (notably back under the $5 level) following quarterly results yesterday morning. The company reported Q1 EPS of $0.02, versus ($0.41) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $370.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $408.6 million. Sees Q2 sales down 3-7%.

Salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE: CRM) 8.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.28, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $504 million versus the consensus estimate of $482.45 million. Sees Q2 2011 EPS of $0.29-$0.30, versus the consensus of $0.26. Salesforce.com, Inc. sees Q2 2011 revenue of $526-$528 million, versus the consensus of $505 million. Increases FY2012 EPS outlook to $1.30-$1.32, versus the consensus of $1.27. Increases FY2012 revenue to $2.15-$2.17 billion, versus the consensus of $2.11 billion.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. (NYSE: YGE) 8.3% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.38, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $527.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $573.46 million. PV module shipment decreased by a low teen percentage from the fourth quarter of 2010. Reaffirms outlook.

The Wet Seal, Inc. (NASDAQ: WTSLA) 8% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.08, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $156 million versus the consensus estimate of $155.77 million. The Wet Seal, Inc. sees Q2 2011 EPS of $0.01-$0.02, versus the consensus of $0.03. The Wet Seal, Inc. sees Q2 2011 revenue of $145-$147 million, versus the consensus of $147.6 million.
