Below are some rumors and gossip being discussed on Wall Street today.

Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) had 10 days of trading losses in the second quarter, versus its perfect trading record in the first quarter.

Jodie Fisher, the woman at the center of the HP (NYSE: HPQ) Mark Hurd scandal, apparently has somewhat of a cult following for her roles in soft-porn films.

Reports Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is expected to unveil an upgraded version of its popular iPad. The Cupertino, California-based company will reportedly launch an upgraded 9.7 inch iPad that will utilize the new ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and feature 512 MB RAM in the first quarter of next year. Apple will also, according to Digitimes senior research analyst Mingchi Kuo, launch a 7 inch iPad with the Cortex-A9 processor and a resolution of 1024X768.

Hartford Financial (NYSE: HIG), TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO), Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: MNTA), and Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) have been the subject of unsubstantiated rumors today.

More rumors of a pending 7% workforce reduction at Barclays (NYSE: BCS), according to DealBreaker.

Carl Icahn's hedge fund invested nearly $1 billion in energy stocks in Q2 as the sector was slammed on the BP oil spill, according to a regulatory filing and noted by Bloomberg.
