Century Aluminum (CENX) Surges As China Manufacturing Expanded

Shares of Century Aluminum Co. (Nasdaq: CENX) are surging higher today on investors' hopes after China's manufacturing expanded for the first time in nine months. Shares of Century Aluminum are up 32% to $7 per share.

Other commodity-related stocks are also higher today. Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE: FCX) is up 7%, United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) is up 9%, and Alcoa, Inc. (NYSE: AA) is up 6%.
