Monthly activities include:
306,000 client trades per day in May 2008, up 24% from May 2007 and up 3% from April 2008.
Approximately $326 billion in total client assets as of May 31, 2008, up 9% from May 2007 and up 2% from April 2008.
Average spread-based assets amounted to $31.6 billion, up 3% from May 2007 and up 2% from April 2008.1
Average fee-based investment balances amounted to $79.2 billion, up 55% from May 2007 and up 1% from April 2008.1
Outlook: TD AMERITRADE currently expects its earnings per share to be at or near the high end of its $0.27-$0.33 guidance range for the June quarter from the April 17, 2008 Outlook Statement. (Consensus is $0.31)
