Aspreva Pharmaceuticals Corporation (NASDAQ: ASPV) 15% HIGHER; entered into a combination agreement with Galenica Group under which Galenica will acquire all of Aspreva's outstanding shares at a price of US$26.00 per share in cash. The total value of the transaction is approximately US$915 million.

Logitech International (Nasdaq: LOGI) 13% HIGHER; announced record sales and operating profit for the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2008. Sales were $595 million, up 19 percent from $502 million in the same quarter last year. Operating income was $80.4 million, up 54 percent from $52.2 million for the same quarter a year ago.

Datalink Corp (Nasdaq: DTLK) 9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.09, 2 cents better than the analysts estimates of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $45.8 million, versus the consensus of $48.5 million. Datalink's Q4 earnings guidance is $0.08 to $0.13 versus $0.12 consensus. Q4 revenues $47 to $52 million versus $54.5 million.

UTStarcom Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI) 9% LOWER; Net sales for the first quarter 2007 were $475.9 million. Gross margins for the first quarter 2007 were 15.8% and net loss for the quarter was $54 million, or a loss of ($0.45) per share.

NVE Corporation (Nasdaq: NVEC) 9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.34, versus the analysts estimates of $0.31. Revenues for the quarter were $4.3 million, versus the consensus of $4.65 million.

E*TRADE Financial (Nasdaq: ETFC) 8.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.14) lower than the analysts estimates of $0.10. Revenues for the quarter were $321 million, versus the consensus of $521.06 million. Full earnings guidance $0.75 to $0.90 versus a $1.11 consensus.

Labor Ready (NYSE: LRW) 8% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.51, 1 cent better than the analysts estimates of $0.50. Revenues for the quarter were $390.7 million, versus the consensus of $394.52 million. The Company sees Q4 revenues in the range of $345 to $350 million, versus the consensus of $360.7 million. Q4 EPS are expected to be in the range of $0.32 to $0.34, versus $0.38.

Washington Mutual (NYSE: WM) 6.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, 4 cents lower than the analysts estimates of $0.27.

Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS) 6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.41, 3 cents better than the analysts estimates of $0.38. Revenues for the quarter were $350 million, versus the consensus of $339.7 million. Q4 revenues are expected to be $374 to $382 million, consensus is $373 million. Q4 earnings $0.42-$0.43 versus $0.45. Citrix is currently trading $1.00 below its 52-week high.

Textron (NYSE: TXT) 6% HIGHER; reports Q3 earnings of $0.95 per share, above the consensus of $0.78. Revenues came in at $3.26 billion versus the consensus of $3.14 billion. Textron sees FY07 EPS of $3.40-$3.50 versus the consensus of $3.29. Sees FY07 revenues of $13 billion versus the consensus of $12.81 billion.

Intersil Corporation (Nasdaq: ISIL) 5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.36, cents better than the analysts estimates of $0.35. Revenues for the quarter were $198.3 million, versus the consensus of $195.63 million. Intersil sees Q4 earnings $0.38 to $0.39 versus consensus of $0.37.

Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq: RMBS) 5% HIGHER; up to date with SEC filings

eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) 4.8% LOWER; Reported solid results, but Deutsche Bank downgrades eBay from Hold to Sell, saying underlying fundamentals appear to be getting worse.

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) 3.6% LOWER; reports that Q3 EPS fell 31% to $0.82, below the consensus of $1.05.

Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) 3% HIGHER; Merrill Lynch upgrades Palm from Netural to Buy.

PDL BioPharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDLI) 3% LOWER; Daniel Loeb's Third Point LLC disclosed a 5.1% stake (6,000,000 shares) in the company. This is down from the 9.7% stake (11,300,000 shares) he disclosed in a prior filing.

Hershey Co. (NYSE: HSY) 3% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.68, below the consensus of $0.71. Revenues came in at $1.4 billion versus the consensus of $1.44 billion. Hershey sees FY EPS of $2.08-$2.12, below the consensus of $2.22.

UnitedHealth (NYSE: UNH) 1.6% HIGHER; reports Q3 earnings of $0.95 per share, 3 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $18.68 billion versus the consensus of $18.97 billion.
