(Nasdaq: LEND) 25% HIGHER; reached an agreement to sell substantially all of its loans held for sale that are currently funded out of its warehouse and repurchase credit facilities, asset-backed commercial paper facility, and its equity. The $2.7 billion of loans held for sale will be sold at a substantial discount in order to alleviate recent pressures from margin calls.

Trimeris (Nasdaq: TRMS) 17% LOWER; Reports Q4 Earnings, Amends Research Agreement with Roche and Announces Management Changes

OMI Corp. (NYSE: OMM) 15% HIGHER; to Explore Strategic Alternatives

Fremont General Corporation (NYSE: FMT) 15% HIGHER; announced that Credit Suisse has increased its committed line of credit to Fremont Investment & Loan to $1 billion, and the Company said it has received various proposals for additional credit facilities if needed to supplement the Company’s current liquidity position of $1.3 billion in cash and short-term investments.

Novastar Financial Inc. (NYSE: NFI) 13.6% HIGHER; continued recovery in sub-prime and other lenders.

DXP Enterprises Inc. (Nasdaq: DXPE) 10% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.61 and sales of $79.3M, both above consensus.

Comtech (Nasdaq: COGO) 8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.16, 1 cent better than estimates.(0.15) Revenues were $48.5 million vs. $46.58 million consensus. Sees 2007 revenues between $210-215 million vs. $204.5 million consensus. Sees 2007 EPS of $0.67 (ex-compensation exp.) vs. consensus of $0.68.

Allion Healthcare, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALLI) 6% LOWER; Q4 results, guidance, downgrade

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (NYSE: MTW) 6% HIGHER; expects to exceed its current estimate for fiscal 2007 earnings per share. The company is raising its most recent earnings per share guidance of $3.85 to $4.00 to a new range of $4.20 to $4.30. (Consensus is $4.02). In addition, the company anticipates that reported earnings per share for the first quarter of 2007 will exceed the average of published Wall Street estimates by approximately 10%.

Unilever plc (NYSE: UL) 4% HIGHER; takeover rumors

Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACTS) 4% LOWER; expects to report Q1 revenue of approximately $29.0 million to $32.0 million and fully diluted earnings per ADS of $0.14 to $0.17. The Company previously announced it expected first quarter revenue in the range of $34.0 to $37.0 million and fully diluted earnings per ADS of $0.15 to $0.19. The consensus is $35.96 million and $0.17.

Six Flags (NYSE: SIX) 3% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $1.12 per share, versus the consensus of a $1.18 loss. Revenues came in at $104.3 million versus the consensus of $107.9 million

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) 3% HIGHER; Q4 results; Roth Upgrades to Buy
