Digital Music Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMGI) 39% HIGHER; entered into an agreement with Apple Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL), pursuant to which DMGI appointed Apple as a reseller of audio-visual files owned and/or controlled by DMGI, including television programs, feature length movies, shorts, and specialty content, within the relevant territory, and granted Apple certain rights to market and promote DMGI's Video Content.

Candela (Nasdaq: CLZR) 18% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.04, 11 cents worse than estimates.(0.15) Revenues were $37.4 million vs. $42.9 million consensus. Gerard E. Puorro, Candela's President and Chief Executive Officer, said: "These results did not meet any of our expectations. The revenue shortfall forces us to recalibrate those expectations. We previously felt a 15% to 18% growth at the top line for the fiscal year was achievable. That clearly is no longer the case, and now appears to be more in the 7% to 9% range."

Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS) 11% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.39, 1 cent better than estimates.(0.38) Revenues were $321 million vs. $311.42 million consensus. Sees Q1 EPS between $0.34-0.35 vs. consensus of $0.35. Sees Q1 revenues between $298-308 million vs. consensus of $298.3 million. Sees FY EPS between $1.51-1.54 and revenues between $1.29-1.31 billion. (Current FY EPS consensus is $1.52 and revenues $1.28 billion)

Hyperion Solutions (Nasdaq: HYSL) 8% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.50, 6 cents better than estimates.(0.44) Revenues were $222.9 million vs. $212.35 million consensus. Hyperion also reported today its outlook for the third quarter of fiscal year 2007. On a GAAP basis, the company currently expects total revenues in the range of $215 million to $220 million and diluted earnings per share in the range of $0.24 to $0.29 ($0.40-0.45 ex-items) Current Q3 revenue consensus is $209.16 million and EPS consensus is $0.42. Hyperion also reported its updated outlook for fiscal year 2007. On a GAAP basis, the company currently expects total revenues in the range of $885 million to $895 million and diluted earnings per share in the range of $1.20 to $1.25 ($1.80-1.85 ex-items) Current FY revenue consensus is $859.18 million and EPS consensus is $1.74.

Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) 8% HIGHER; Announces earnings and announced a $700 million private placement transaction with KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P., the publicly traded fund of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., one of the oldest and most experienced private equity firms.

Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) 8% HIGHER; announced that after initial review of operating results, it has increased its revenue and pre-charge earnings per share estimates for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006. Fourth quarter revenues are expected to range between $590 million and $600 million compared to the prior guidance range of $500 million to $525 million. (Current consensus is $518.65 million). Fourth quarter adjusted earnings per share results, excluding a non-cash goodwill impairment charge, are now expected to range between $0.19 and $0.20 per diluted share, compared to prior guidance of $0.11 to $0.14 per diluted share. (Current consensus is $0.08)

EZCORP (Nasdaq: EZPW) 6% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.23, 3 cents better than estimates.(0.20) Revenues were $91.7 million vs. $85.54 million consensus. "We expect our second fiscal 2007 quarter's earnings to be approximately $0.23 per share compared to $0.19 for the fiscal 2006 second quarter. For our 2007 fiscal year, we are raising our guidance to approximately $0.85 per share compared to $0.69 per share for fiscal 2006." (Current Q2 EPS ocnsensus is $0.23 and FY EPS consensus is $0.81)

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.04, ex-charge, versus the consensus of a $0.10 profit. Revenues came in at $1.77 billion versus the consensus of $1.73 billion. Sees Q1 revenues of $1.6-$1.7 billion versus the consensus of $1.82 billion.

Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) 4.8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.16 (ex-items), 3 cents better than estimates.(0.13) Revenues were $1.23 billion vs. $1.22 billion consensus. Sees Q1 revenues between $1.12-1.23 billion vs. $1.26 billion consensus. Sees FY07 revenues between $4.95-5.45 billion vs. $5.47 billion consensus.

Encore Acquisition Co. (NYSE: EAC) 4.5% HIGHER; will replace McDATA Corp. (NASDAQ: MCDTA) in the S&P MidCap 400 index after the close of trading on a date to be announced. McDATA is being acquired by Brocade Communications Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: BRCD) in a deal that is still pending final approvals.

Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX) 4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.39 (ex-items), 7 cents better than estimates.(0.32) Revenues were $3.0 billion vs. $2.93 billion consensus. Sees Q3 EPS between $0.56-0.60 (ex-items) vs. consensus of $0.54. Sees FY EPS between $1.70-1.75 (ex-items) vs. consensus of $1.67.

TNS, Inc. (NYSE: TNS) 3.6% LOWER; rejected a proposal received on January 22 from a group led by John J. McDonnell, Jr. to acquire the Company for $16 per share. After full consideration of the Company's business and prospects, the Board of Directors concluded that the $16 proposal was inadequate as it substantially undervalued the Company. The company also provided preliminary 2007 guidance. The company sees total revenue of $312-$320 million, versus the consensus of $304.96 million. The company sees adjusted earnings per share of $0.97-$1.07, versus the consensus of $0.93.

Steel Dynamics Inc. (Nasdaq: STLD) 3% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $1.03, in-line with estimates. Revenues came in at $839.8 million versus the consensus of $894.12 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.85-$0.90, versus the consensus of $0.97. The company said, "Although the first quarter appears to be slightly softer than the fourth quarter due to continued weakness in the flat-rolled sector, it will still be stronger than the first quarter of 2006."

QLogic (Nasdaq: QLGC) 3% LOWER; reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.28 ($0.22 on a GAAP basis) vs. consensus of $0.26. Revenues were $157.6 million vs. $158.38 million consensus.

Pactiv Corp (NYSE: PTV) 2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.39, in-line with estimates.(0.39) Revenues were $738 million vs. $770.24 million consensus. The Company expects low single digit sales growth in 2007. The Company has initiated a first quarter 2007 earnings per share outlook in a range of $0.37 to $0.41 (Current consensus is $0.39), and a full year 2007 outlook for earnings per share in a range of $1.75 to $1.87 (Current consensus is $1.82). The full-year range includes non-cash pension income of $50 million pretax, $32 million after tax, or $0.23 per share.
