Biopure Corporation (Nasdaq: BPUR) 37% LOWER; announced that the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Blood Products Advisory Committee voted 11 to 8, with one abstention, to recommend against proceeding with the Navy's proposed Phase IIb/III, 1100-patient study of Biopure's oxygen therapeutic Hemopure [hemoglobin glutamer - 250 (bovine)] for the pre-hospital treatment of hemorrhagic shock resulting from traumatic injury.

Electronic Clearing House Inc. (Nasdaq: ECHO) 21.7% HIGHER; Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) and Electronic Clearing House have signed a definitive agreement for Intuit to acquire ECHO. Under the terms of the agreement, Intuit will pay $18.75 per share in cash in exchange for each share of ECHO common stock, including shares issuable upon exercise of options

ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES LTD. (Nasdaq: IMOS) 7% HIGHER; Raised its prior guidance for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2006. The company said based on the exchange rate of NT$32.43 against US$1.00 as of November 30, 2006, ChipMOS currently expects the revenue for the fourth quarter of 2006 to be in the range of US$176 million to US$181 million, compared to prior guidance of US$168 million to US$172 million, with gross margin on a consolidated basis for the fourth quarter of 2006 to be in the range of 29% to 32%, compared to prior guidance of 26% to 29%. The revenues consenus is $171.8 million.

Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK) 7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.24 ($0.35 ex-items) vs. consensus of $0.37. Revenues were $272.8 million vs. $276.61 million consensus. For the third quarter of fiscal 2007, the company expects net sales to be approximately $275 - $285 million. Earnings per share from continuing operations are expected to be between $0.34 and $0.39 before mostly non-cash acquisition-related costs, business realignment costs, one-time items and share-based compensation expense. Current Q3 revenue consensus is $282.64 million and EPS consensus is $0.40.

The Black & Decker Corporation (NYSE: BDK) 5.8% LOWER; said due to lower-than-expected sales, net earnings per diluted share are anticipated to be $1.30-to-$1.35 for the fourth quarter of 2006 and approximately $6.50 for the full year. The consensus is $1.86 and $7.01, respectively.

Adobe Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: ADBE) 5% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS OF $0.33, ex-items, in-line with estimates. Revenues came in at $682.2 million versus the consensus of $670.8 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.28-$0.30, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.31. Sees Q1 revenues of $640-$670 million versus the consensus of $651.95 million.

USA Truck, Inc. (NASDAQ: USAK) 5.11% LOWER; sees full-year 2006 fully diluted earnings per share of $1.08 to $1.12, versus the consensus of $1.25. Revenue, excluding fuel surcharges, is expected to be in a range of $378 million to $383 million, versus the consensus of $478.85 million.

GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC) 5% HIGHER; Cramer highlights on Mad Money.

Dendrite International Inc. (Nasdaq: DRTE) 4.5% LOWER; said 2007 revenue is expected to be in the range of approximately $430 to $445 million (consensus is $445.55M). Sees 2007 adjusted EPS in the range of approximately $0.45 to $0.52 (consensus is $0.56).Dendrite expects fourth quarter 2006 revenue to range from approximately $107 to $112 million (consensus is $106.9M), in line with its previously provided full year 2006 outlook of $419 to $424 million (consensus is $419.4M). Adjusted fourth quarter 2006 EPS is expected to range from a loss of approximately $0.03 to a profit of $0.03 per diluted share (consensus is $0.09).

Genzyme Corp. (Nasdaq: GENZ) 4.4% HIGHER; announced that Synvisc, a market- leading viscosupplement used to treat pain due to osteoarthritis of the knee, will maintain a separate reimbursement code and rate for 2007.

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW) 4% LOWER; is decreasing its forecasted earnings range to $0.72 to $0.74 from the prior range of $0.77 to $0.81. As a result, the Company's full-year forecasted earnings range is now $2.96 to $2.98 compared to the prior range of $3.01 to $3.05. Current Q4 EPS consensus is $0.78 and FY EPS consensus is $3.02.

MKS Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: MKSI) 3.27% HIGHER; will replace Aleris International Inc. (NYSE: ARS) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Tuesday, December 19.

ICON (NASDAQ: ICLR) 3% HIGHER; raised its existing 2006 guidance and announced financial guidance for 2007.

YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW) 3% LOWER; now expects fourth quarter 2006 EPS in the range of $0.95 to $1.05 and full year 2006 earnings to be $5.00 to $5.10 per share. The company's previous guidance was $1.40 to $1.50 per share for the fourth quarter and $5.45 to $5.55 per share for the year. The consensus is $1.32 and $5.40, respectively.

E*TRADE Financial (NYSE: ET) 2% HIGHER; provides guidance, moving to NASDAQ

Overstock.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSTK) 1.5% LOWER; announced that institutional investors have agreed to purchase 2,734,152 shares of its common stock for $40.0 million at a price of $14.63 per share. WR Hambrecht + Co., LLC served as the placement agent for the offering.

Harrah's Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: HET) 1% HIGHER; receives competing bid from Penn National Gaming

The Home Depot (NYSE: HD) 0.4% HIGHER; said its board of directors has authorized the immediate repurchase of $3 billion of outstanding shares through an accelerated share repurchase agreement.
